Our Community! Our Voice! VOTE

Thank you for your support in the recall election last year. It worked! It was a great success for the community. Changes have had a positive impact. Cherokee Metro District has NEW Management, a NEW Chief Financial Officer (CFO), a NEW Attorney (general counsel), and a NEW Parks Department. Many new policies have been implemented to make the organization work more efficiently. 

The Citizens’ Parks Committee has been established and is headed by neighbors Robert Hernandez and Nathaniel Williams.  The PFAS facility, a multi-year project, is in the works and moving forward. A professional study is underway for water softening. It’s been a great deal of change in a short period. 

Change can be challenging. It’s wonderful to see the positive momentum. Due to the recall election and appointments, all 5 seats are up for election. We enthusiastically encourage you to vote for KIM WILSON, BONNIE HUNTER, JEFF BANDY, DAN WALL, and ARTHUR B. SINTAS. Please VOTE, this is important for our community.
